Appearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kendall Newman, Sanfilippo was ordered to remain in custody after the judge found him to be a flight risk and a danger, according to Lauren Horwood of the U.S. Attorney's Office.
SACRAMENTO - After a one-day bench trial, Jeffrey A. Catlett, 35, of Sutter, was found guilty Sept. 30 by United States Magistrate Judge Kendall Newman of violations of the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act, United States Attorney Benjamin Wagner announced.
Catlett is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Newman on Oct. 23.
