ANDERSON, Ind. - Property tax bills should be in the mail soon, according to Madison County Treasurer Kelly Gaskill.
"The goal is to have property tax bills out on time," she said. Property tax payments are due May 10. Gaskill said the Madison County Auditor's office is currently calculating exemptions and special assessments, which is being handled by an employee in the county surveyor's office. When all data has been entered, bills will be calculated, proofed and mailed, Gaskill said. Gaskill and Assessor Larry Davis have been holding meetings around the county for the past several weeks assisting property owners with appeals and other property tax related issues. Property tax bills should be in the mail soon, according to Madison County Treasurer Kelly Gaskill.
