Kelley McCormick brings more than 20 years of high-level agency experience with a focus on corporate affairs, reputation management and consumer marketing to SKDKnickerbocker. She is adept at connecting the dots between public policy, corporate social responsibility and marketing.
Most recently, Kelley was an executive vice president at McBee|Gibraltar, where she worked on a variety of corporate and nonprofit campaigns that addressed critical public health concerns such as obesity, the U.S. HIV/AIDS epidemic and food allergies. She has extensive experience in branding and positioning, having worked on behalf of Dole Food, the Financial Times, HBO and the Bipartisan Policy Center.
Kelley serves several nonprofit organizations including Running Start, CURE Epilepsy and the Clinton Global Initiative. She is also a member of the board of directors for the Miss America Organization - the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women - with a personal focus on encouraging women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
Kelley previously worked at Qorvis Communications, where she served as a partner with responsibilities for leading the client service initiative and other agency programs. Some of her previous clients include Beam Inc., Feld Entertainment, Scientific American, Bloomberg Businessweek and GQ Magazine.
She managed campaigns at Weber Shandwick/Powell Tate for nearly nine years, including a number of award-winning programs for the Eastman Kodak Company. Prior to that, Kelley worked at Ketchum Public Relations, where she cut her teeth as a member of the national media team.
Kelley holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. She lives in Silver Spring, Md., with her husband and three young boys.
