Fresno Madera Farm Credit hires Hesterberg as CEO
Keith HesterbergFresno Madera Farm Credit has hired Keith Hesterberg to replace retiring president and chief executive officer Tom Brown effective July 1.
Hesterberg comes to Fresno Madera Farm Credit with extensive agricultural lending experience in California.
As a Sacramento regional vice president of CoBank, he managed a $3 billion portfolio of loan commitments to large agribusiness firms engaged in dairy, nuts, wine, forest products, fruit and vegetable production in a five state region including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Oregon.
also purchased participation interests in loans originated by a number of the agricultural credit associations in California and Arizona.
Hesterberg worked with 13 agricultural credit associations in the region by offering solutions to concentration management practices and CoBank pass through services such as lines of credit and cash management.
Hesterberg began his farm credit experience as a loan officer in 1993 in Production Credit Association and Federal Land Bank associations.
