Business has been "really good," lately, Carson reports."One thing we have seen since we opened our doors almost a decade ago is steady growth annually, not just in volume, but also in the number and diversity of clients."
About 80 percent of Top Hat's work is for the general market, with the remainder for the US Hispanic market and Creole-speakers.Recent projects include a video presentation for the locally-based Narcotics Overdose Prevention & Education Task Force, which is set to go national; a PSA campaign for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office; and a law-enforcement training video designed to increase seat-belt use for the Florida Department of Transportation
and company use Abobe Audition and Pro Tools.Top Hat
also offers video production, with JVC and Panasonic HD cameras, for a number of audio clients who also need video services."We used to refer them to a video production company," Carson notes, "but now we can accommodate them [since] we teamed up with some local [video] professionals who were working independently.
"About half of our work comes from Florida, the rest from around the country and the world -- including a handful of European clients who found us on the Internet," Carson
