Award-winning journalist Kaymar Jordan is Director of News & Current Affairs for the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC), which was formed 10 years ago from the merger of the Caribbean News Agency (CANA) and the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU).

Ms. Kaymar Jordan
Kaymar Jordan is currently the Editor-in-Chief at the Nation Publishing Co.
An award-winning journalist, Ms. Jordan has more than 15 years experience in the media industry but it is policy formulation that provides the newest thrill for the former newsroom manager at the Caribbean Media Corporation.
She acquired her Master's degree with distinction in Communication Policy Studies from the City University of London and is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill campus, having majored in Management studies.
Ms Jordan is a former part-time lecturer in Mass Communications at the Barbados Community College where she graduated at the top of her class with an Associate Degree in Journalism.
She is also a former member of the statutory board of the National Cultural Foundation in Barbados.
