Kaye D. Riggs is the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, Geneva J. Williams at City Connect Detroit.
Joining the team in January 2008, Kaye is familiar with the City Connect Detroit way of doing things, having consulted with the organization in its beginning stages.
In this role, she
helped organize the initial set up of the offices, propelling City Connect Detroit
on its journey.
currently assists Geneva with the daily operations of City Connect Detroit
including but certainly not limited to appointment scheduling, communications and committee participation.
Prior to working at City Connect Detroit, Kaye devoted her time to helping transform the lives of Detroit youth, working as the Assistant to the Center Director at the Detroit Job Corps Center, a program that assists youth ages 16 to 24 with educational, trade and employment opportunities.
In addition to assisting the Center Director with daily operations of center, she
often acted as mentor to many of the young people the program served.
Kaye's past experience has included work in the nonprofit, private and public sectors.
Kaye, a native Detroiter, is a graduate of Ferris State University, obtaining a degree in Office Administration and Business Communications.
college years provided some of the best years of her

says seems to bring out the best in people.
Kaye is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and has served on numerous committees including the Booker T. Washington Business Association Principals & Educators Luncheon and Tribute to Orthea Barnes.
A lover of travel, music, softball, reading autobiographies and good friends, Kaye
believes that laughter is the music of the soul and laughs as much as possible to spread her
