"We all anticipated some problems, and to some degree those were realized," says Kaye Ferry, owner of Vail's Daily Grind and president of the Vail Chamber and Business Association."But when everything is said and done, it's hard to separate the effects of the terrorist attacks from other factors, like the economy.It isn't my sense that anybody is worried about Sept. 11 going forward, but there is always going to be some residual effect," she adds, explaining that some people may always have personal fears about flying after the horrible events of last year.
