Upon browsing our collection of vendor's photos we could not pass up the photo of Cincinnati's own Katy Morgan
and husband Tom posing in front of Cincinnati's iconic landmark in Fountain Square.
Katy took the role as the morning meteorologist, and Tom as the behind the scene morning director.
After two years of dating, Katy
was given the opportunity to move her
career to Cincinnati's own FOX19
An easy decision to relocate closer to family, the couple picked up and moved.
Two weeks after moving in, on December 23rd, Tom and Katy
were celebrating Christmas early to accommodate a news station work schedule.
The following October, on a "sunny fall day with a high around 60°, I made sure to have good weather" Katy
joked of her
perfect day to be pronounced husband and wife.
The couple held their ceremony at the Knox Presbyterian Church, where they are both members.
"The day was truly perfect in my mind, everything I could have asked for - surrounded by family and friends, from all over the country" says Katy
After the nuptials, Tom and Katy
were proud to show off Cincinnati as their new home to friends and family at The Westin's Fountain Room for their reception.
Like many brides, as a little girl, Katy
always dreamed about getting married but never had a picture in her
head as to what she
wanted it to be like.
Without even an idea for color scheme or theme, Katy
started completely from scratch utilized the help from her
very crafty mother every step of the way!
Slowly over time, the wedding evolved into exactly what she
wanted without even knowing it.
planned a "girl's weekend" to pick out her
dress, from Wendy's Cincinnati Bride, involving her
mother from St. Louis and future mother in law from Lima, Ohio.
