The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Katrina Balog is the new executive director effective January 2, 2014.
As executive director, she will serve 130 Chamber member businesses by providing strong leadership and business development and educational opportunities.
years of experience working for a business development organization, Katrina
understands the importance of the Chamber's role in developing strong businesses in Edgewater.

Katrina is leaving her position as planning director for Rogers Park Business Alliance where she oversaw commercial district development and events that supported businesses in Rogers Park.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Calvin College and a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University.
In 2012, she
completed the Chicago Leadership Institute
