In advance of the Orchestra's first concert on Saturday, Sept. 11, Associate Principal Violist Katie Kadarauch spent the tour party's free day (Sept 10) touring and photographing the beautiful mountains around Lucerne with Carey Bell (Principal Clarinet) and Dan Carlson (Associate Principal Second Violin).
This has been a wonderful return to Lucerne for Katie, as she made her first European tour with the SFS to the Lucerne Festival in 2007, shortly after joining the orchestra.
