Kathy is an active member of the International Special Events Society (ISES), a global industry organization for event professionals.
She was one of the founding Metro Detroit Board members, and has served as Vice President of Communication.
She is currently Director of Membership.
CSEP status and stays competitive in the industry by regularly attending national conferences to keep up with industry changes and canvas new talent.
As a past winner of the annual EPIC Awards, Kathy
will be chairing the 2013 EPIC Awards, as well as joining the judging panel for the ISES Espirit Awards in August 2012.
Kathy is also a member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), chairing their successful "Table Top Wow" fundraiser for two years.
She is also President of the Michigan Meetings and Events Network, co-producing their bi-annual industry educational expo.
Kathy is also a member of the International Association of Corporate Entertainment Producers (IACEP), and a past member of the Michigan Meeting Planners International (MPI).
is active in Event Solutions Institute Education Seminars, and is regularly contracted by Event Partners and the Logic Network to oversee seminars and medical meetings.
