Kathy Estes is the coordinator for Coordinated Health Programs for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.
She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Educational Library Media from Southern Arkansas University and later her Master's of Science degree in Educational Counseling from South Florida University and her certificate in Educational Administration from California State University, San
Kathy is a trainer in the following areas: The Impact of Violence and Stress on Normal Brain Development, A Framework for Understanding Poverty, The Forty Developmental Assets, Student Assistance Programs Training, Conflict Management and Peer Leadership.
Through personal experience and knowledge of research, Kathy
uses humor and sometimes painful personal anecdotes to illustrate the basic theories of these content areas.
