Hall of Shame-Zealots

Kathy Drea, anti-freedom slob
American Lung Association of Upper Midwest Kathy Drea is a cancer upon common sense, democracy, freedom, honest science, our liberties, and logic. Kathy Drea is an out of control zealot who works with the American Lung Association. Her actions suggest she has a pathological need for entire populaces to submit to her authoritarian demands. Like all her pals at the American Lung Association, she wants common sense and freedom to continue to be outlawed. She wants people marginalized and punished. For smoking. In America. A lot of stuff flying around in the paragraph above, isn't there? Sadly, it all appears true to us or we wouldn't have put it up. Drea is a supporter of the bill that in 2005 that outlawed a bit more of freedom and liberty in Illinois via its smoking ban. In April of 2011, per published reports, Drea reacted quite angrily when the Illinois House of Representatives voted to allow smoking once again in casinos in Illinois. Drea doesn't concern herself with things like fair play, honest science, or logic. Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, even to their own demise and to the demise of those around them (being our freedom), Drea appears to get a high of sorts in promoting and demanding submission to tyranny. She gets angry when people prove her wrong or call her out. With Drea and the no-smoke thugs, it's all about drama and not having the character or courage to admit they've gone to far. And if common sense, freedom, and liberty should be casualties of Drea's seemingly endless tripe? She doesn't care. Item. Posted on SmokeFreeIllinois.org : "Kathy received the award for her efforts and commitment to the passing of Illinois House Bill 672 in the summer of 2005. This historic legislation allows Illinois communities to regulate smoking in public places. The signing of this bill makes Illinois the second state to repeal a tobacco industry law that bans cities from enacting smoking policies." In other words, business owners shouldn't be allowed to decide for themselves. Of course not, and here's why in Drea's warped thinking: If Drea should live to be 100 and never went to a bar, or casino, or any other business where people were smoking, she thinks the owners should still be punished for allowing smoking. In Drea's thought process, she seems to be saying, "I'll not ever go where people smoke, but I don't care. Item. Per an online article on lungchicago.org, dated 3/29/2011: Kathy Drea is quoted, as saying, (Illinois) saved $1.18 billion in heart-related healthcare costs since the smoking ban went into effect." Like all zealots,Kathy Drea is a liar. We know it, we suspect she knows it, and now the whole world knows it. Her assertion can not be proven, nor will it ever be proven with honest science. But that's what zealots do. They lie. Item. Posted onwww.ThinkExist.com, Kathy Drea is shown, as saying: It's more dogma from Drea. Like all the no-smoke zealots, she continually attempts to reframe a dishonest stance when her previous assertions have been proved as being dishonest and anti-freedom. The concept of living and letting live, personal responsibility and individual property rights doesn't appear a part of Drea's mindset. Because she's a zealot. And like all zealots, she's out of control. She's lost perspective. They gave all for freedom, not tyranny. They gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and they too had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle. Kathy Drea has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all for freedom. Too far? Over the top? We don't think so. With Kathy Drea, it's all about Kathy Drea. She demands submission to drama and tyranny. In America. We find Kathy Drea's actions to be despicable. Kathy Drea manifests a disrepect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But she doesn't care. Nope. Not at all.
