Kathleen A. Juola Kathleen Adele Juola died of cancer Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, in Vancouver.She was 50. She last worked as a teaching assistant at Glenwood Heights Elementary School in the Battle Ground School District. Mrs. Juola was born Nov. 9, 1951, in Santa Barbara, Calif.Her maiden name was Elkins. She lived in Pakistan as a youngster and spent one year of college in Guam.Mrs. Juola graduated from Westmont College in 1973 and later earned a graduate degree from Multnomah School of the Bible.She served on mission trips to Belize and Japan. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. today at New Heights Church. Survivors include her husband, George, at home; her parents, Grace and Dick Elkins of Vancouver; one daughter, Amy Juola of Brush Prairie; one son, Brian of Brush Prairie; her twin sister, Rebecca Osterbrock of Aurora, Colo.; and two brothers, James Elkins and John Elkins, both of Aurora. Private burial will be in Northwood Park Cemetery.
