practice focuses on occupational safety and health and labor employment law.Ms. Larkin has extensive litigation experience in both judicial and administrative settings, including labor arbitrations and negotiations.Her
areas of concentration include occupational safety and health, in both the mining industry and general industry and construction. Ms. Larkin
has lectured extensively in these areas for the Colorado Mining Association, North Dakota Safety Council, National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, Arizona Rock Products Association, Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Colorado Rock Products Association, Colorado Safety Association and The Industrial Relations and Research Association
.She was formerly an instructor at the National College of District Attorneys. Ms. Larkin joined Jackson Kelly PLLC after several years in the Labor Relations Department of Mountain States Employers Council, where she assisted employers in the Rocky Mountain region with a variety of labor, employment and safety issues.Her past experience includes six years with AMAX, Inc. in the Labor Relations Department at the Climax Mine and five years as an Assistant District Attorney in Colorado's Fifth Judicial District. Ms. Larkin received an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Colorado in 1975 and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1978, where she received the William O. DeSoudret Award for best mock trial team.She
is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Tenth Circuit.
