Katherine M. Wittig is a project coordinator for post high school programs at the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center at Virginia Commonwealth University.
current research interests include self determination, customized employment and the transition to postsecondary education and employment for high school students with disabilities.
Before joining the VCU RRTC Katherine
was a program specialist at the VDOE TTAC at VCU
has also worked in Maine, New Jersey and Rhode Island.
Katherine has served as the Southeast Representative for the Council for Exceptional Children's Division on Career Development (CEC_DCDT), President of the Virginia Chapter, DCDT (VA-DCDT), President, VA Association for Career and Technical Education, Special Needs Division (VACTE).
has authored or coauthored several journal articles and textbook chapters.
