Karyn brings over 25 years of health care experience to her current role as Vice President of Client Services for the Central West Community Care Access Centre.
Karyn's portfolio includes leadership responsibilities for all Client Service Teams.
She is an experienced and visionary healthcare executive, committed to achieving excellence in quality of care and a sustainable future for healthcare through innovative and dynamic system level change.
She has worked as a health care administrator in a variety of settings including both hospital and community and is passionate about the creation and implementation of efficient, effective, evidence based health care service models.
Karyn has chaired or participated in several regional and provincial advisory and working groups particularly in the areas of rehabilitation reform and children's services and is currently working with several community partners to develop a long range service plan for Central West CCAC.
is the sector CCAC lead for the Mental Health and Addictions Nurses in Schools provincial initiative.
Karyn holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree and a Master's of Science Degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist.
She also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University.
