According to Kari Kellen, Executive Director of the Children's Museum of Siouxland, CMBA was selected in a qualifications-based submission and interview process.
"Our Board selected CMBA
because of the extensive educational and interpretive project experience the firm could bring to the table.
has similar experience working with exhibits and museum spaces; completing projects like the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, the Betty Strong Encounter Center and the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center
was also selected in a design-build competition for the Siouxland Freedom Park project.
The work they have done on both fun and structurally challenging projects, like the Wells Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor & Museum in Le Mars, Iowa, is also impressive.
"I have personally visited several of the projects that CMBA
has worked on and I'm looking forward to getting our project underway.
We are currently in the initial stages of design work," said Kellen
