JANESVILLE-The recent sale of the Studer Group to Huron Healthcare won't prevent the Janesville School District from continuing the Journey to Excellence program, said Superintendent Karen Schulte.
"Our day-to-day processes won't change at all," Schulte
"If anything, it'll(the sale) help this whole process continue to grow," Schulte
said that Studer
was sold once before and that didn't result in any changes for the district.
"We are excited about the prospects of sharing our journey with Huron and are grateful for our partnership with you," Studer
said in a letter to Schulte
"Together, we will maximize human and organizational performance in our education and healthcare systems."
Private equity firm JMI Equity has owned 70 percent of Studer
"We're still on the journey, we want to be one of the greatest school districts in the state of Wisconsin, if not the nation," Schulte
"We believe personalized learning will revolutionize how students will learn," Schulte
The district has improved because of evidence-based leadership and is lucky to have joined at the ground floor, Schulte
has been a great supporter.
We are grateful for the opportunities he
has given us," Schulte
