Director - Karen Roeber
Karen began her Early Childhood teaching career at Franklin Children's School in the 1980's.
She was their teacher and lead teacher for 11 years before returning back to college full time.
After she earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, K-3, Karen worked in the public school system as a permanent substitute teacher and a Kindergarten Language Arts Teacher for several years.
In 1999, she began teaching at Pincushion Hill Montessori School in Ashland, and she completed the New England Montessori Teacher Education Training Program in June 2003.
In the spring of 2005, Karen left Pincushion Hill Montessori School to become the Director of Sunrise Montessori School.
Presently, Karen is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), American Montessori Society and is an affiliate member of the Association Montessori International.
Degrees held: Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.
also holds an Early Childhood certification, K-3, in MA.
Karen is certified as a Lead Teacher and Director II by the MA Department of Early Education and Care and is certified in CPR and First Aid.
She is also Camp Director certified from the American Camp Association of New England.
