Kara Burns is a licensed veterinary technician with master's degrees in physiology and counseling psychology.
Kara is the Founder and President of the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians.
She is an independent nutritional consultant, teaches nutrition courses on Veterinary Support Personnel Network and on VetMedTeam, and she also works for Hill's Pet Nutrition.
Kara is active in the profession holding positions on many veterinary and technician boards.
