June Redford Van Cleef
June Redford Van Cleef's latest body of work is a collection of documentary images of the people, buildings and landscapes along the borders of Texas' Presidio County and Mexico's state of Chihuahua. Ms. Van Cleef was born (1941) and raised in West Texas. Today she is a professor of photography at Collin County Community College (located in Plano, a Dallas suburb) where she founded the photography department in 1988. She has taught for many years, all the time building up a large body of documentary photography. A few years ago, she authored a book entitled The Way Home: Photography from the Heart of Texas which featured images from Hamilton county spanning two decades. Her work has been included in many venues, and it is in the collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Her 16 x 20 prints are priced at $950.00. Prints on 20 x 24 paper are $1,300.00, and 13 x 34 inch panoramic prints are $2,200.00. All prints are gelatin silver made by June Redford Van Cleef in her darkroom.

Highly respected artist and educator June Van Cleef will serve as juror of this exhibition.June is Professor of Photography at Collin County Community College and has had numerous exhibitions as well as authoring a number of books and art publications.The Plano Photography Club was established in 1984 for those in the community interested in photography.There are about 70 active members from Plano and nearby areas.Meetings, held monthly, consist of workshops and contests in beginner, intermediate, advanced and master class categories.The club is a member of the Photographic Society of America and the Gulf States Camera Club Council.The female painting troupe, VisualEyes displays their works at the Plano Centre during the month of December.
