Dr. Julius Levy is an accomplished, noted and published physician in New Orleans and was a Lt.
Commander in the U.S. Navy's
is well-known throughout the Southeast and the United States for his
many UJA Campaign accomplishments.
Dr. Levy was born in Clarksdale, MS and attended Tulane for undergraduate studies and medical school.
served as an inter4n and surgery resident at Charity hospital in New Orleans.
is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
His is a Clinical Professor of Surgery and an Adjunct Professor of Structural and Cellular Biology at Tulane Medical School His is currently the chairman of the Board of Governors on the Tulane Health Science Center.
Dr Levy is a former board member of the Council of Jewish Federations and the American Jewish Joint Distribution committee.
He is a past president of the Jewish Federation of New Orleans and a certified trainer for the UJC.
He is past Chairman of the UJC's Maimonides Society.
