Julie Ralston, Director of Center for Strategic Relations, Atlanta Regional Commission

Julie has served the Atlanta Regional Commission, metro Atlanta's planning agency for 28 years, as Communications Director and most recently as the Director for ARC's new Center for Strategic Relations.
She leads an extensive program of internal and external communications including media relations, editorial, graphic design and website management, as well the regional planning agency's governmental affairs, community engagement and strategic initiatives divisions.
Prior to joining ARC, Julie spent three years each with the communications departments of the Georgia Division of the American Cancer Society and the national office of the Arthritis Foundation.
She is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb, the Regional Leadership Institute, Harvard's program on "Negotiation and Conflict Resolution," and of the University of Georgia's Henry Grady School of Journalism.
Julie serves her community in many civic roles, including as Vice President of the Olmsted Linear Park Alliance and board member of the Clifton Corridor Community Partnership.
