Her personal favorite is the more secluded Gouverneur, and she's an expert on which boulangeries and restaurants offer the best to-go options for beach picnics. She enjoys the island's maritime traditions and will join the spectators for the November Cata Cup Regatta when she is on the island. Julie plans her post-season inspection trip around her May birthday, and she celebrates with a late-night dinner at one of the island's fabulous restaurants. And then she indulges in some St. Barth-style nightlife. You'll have to ask her yourself whether she has danced on any tabletops.

SBP's Julie Nally flew down with me for a whirlwind scouting trip. We were looking for "the" perfect wedding venue for a very special bride. One potential venue was the breathtaking 5 bedroom Villa Estancia with its fascinating history. This past year, we have been more involved in planning island weddings and special events - including popping the question. As always, there was lots of work to do: villa inspections and meetings. Julie and I stayed at the chic Villa Wästra . We have just added this glam Gustavia penthouse apartment to our portfolio. Julie and I left the island just before Hurricane Earl arrived but followed his track - and thankfully short visit - closely.

SBP's Julie Nally was recently on the island and combined her site inspections with a client's wedding. Julie helped with the nuptials - an intimate sunset ceremony beachfront at the beautiful Hotel Le Sereno. She was thrilled to be included on the guest list. Julie also reported - in the line of duty - that the harborside Le Bistro does a great happy hour on Thursday nights: "Buy one - get one free" and complimentary pizzas. She also recommends Shell Beach on Sundays, with lunch at Do Brazil, for a relaxing time with a local flavor.
