"I plan to spend more time with my three grandchildren and my family," she said. Julia introduced her family and stated that she raised her children to believe in God and to be good people. Julia was an insurance underwriter before being hired by trustees, Al Schrader, Paul Miller and Boyd Esler to work as a van driver and janitor for the township. Schrader was on hand to congratulate Julia. "She is one of the most efficient people I have ever been around," said Ruth Burchett adding Miller has made the senior center what it is today. Julia ran the day camp at Springfield Lake for more than 100 children every year for 15 years. Julia received a plaque and gift card from the township and her fellow employees.
