Welcome to the Law Office of Julie E. Dinnerstein. We are dedicated to helping our clients through the labyrinth of the U.S. immigration process.

Julie E. Dinnerstein, the principal and founder of our office, worked at Sanctuary for Families for over fifteen years where she helped to develop the Immigration Intervention Project's team of attorneys and paralegals from a department of one (herself) to a thriving four-borough practice with over fifteen full-time staff members representing immigrant victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and related gender-based harms in a variety of immigration matters. In addition to her current role in managing our office and representing immigrant clients, Julie serves as a senior legal consultant to the City University of New York's Citizenship Now project which provides pro-se assistance to thousands of New Yorkers every year seeking to become U.S. citizens.
Julie has written and presented extensively on immigration options for immigrant victims of domestic violence. Julie is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Law School where she was a Stone Scholar and served on both the Journal of Gender and the Law and the Law Review.
