Adelaide psychiatrist Dr Julie Connor says the 200 South Australians who have a psychotic episode each year are not properly catered for in the public health system. "Experiencing early psychosis is very disruptive to young people's lives and can herald the onset of a more chronic psychotic illness," she said.
