Julia Samuel
Julia is a psychotherapist devising and running workshops throughout the UK, training and supporting leaders and business professionals from a wide variety of fields, typically in organisations which are undergoing major change. She also enjoys supporting and developing the AGL team and their clients, in authentic communication. She is psychotherapist for pediatrics at St Mary's Paddington, the post she established in 1992, where her role involves seeing families who have children or babies who die, and training and supporting the staff. Julia Samuel, former Governor of BACP, is nominated as Inspirational Woman of the Year
Former Governor and Accredited Member of BACP, Julia Samuel, has been put forward for the Daily Mail's Inspirational Woman of the Year campaign which launched in March. The campaign will end with an awards ceremony in May and will raise much needed funds for wellbeing for women, a charity dedicated to medical research to combat women's health problems.
Through her work Julia has helped thousands of children cope with the devastating death of a parent, as well as parents who have lost beloved children. The article which appeared in the Daily Mail about Julia can be read here
