Judy Brannberg: Executive Director and Program Manager
is a goal-oriented, task-driven, over-achiever which is exemplified through her
ability to complete tasks with excellence, efficiency and elegance.
She is currently finishing her Master of Science Education degree in Science Teaching at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS).
During 2011 and 2012 Judy
participated in the prestigious UCCS Partnership in Innovative Preparation for Educators and Students (PIPES) Research Program, funded by a grant from the Air Force which sought to respond to the looming shortage of skilled science, technology, engineering and math educators and the lagging performance of students in science and math through innovative and supportive partnerships with parents, educators and professionals.

wrote the STEM School
and Academy Charter and designed the unique curriculum for both the STEM School
and the STEM Academy's Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) before and after-school program, creating over one hundred unique hands-on classes taught by highly-qualified business and industry professionals.
During the successful design and launch phase of the project, Judy served as the Program Manager, managing hundreds of educators, business and industry professionals, community stakeholders and parents.
is also an outstanding fundraiser and together with her husband Barry they raised over $300,000 during the inaugural year of 2011-2012 by securing several large federal, state, and foundation level grants for STEM School
and Academy . More than $1 million in start-up funds were raised by the Brannbergs to launch and open the STEM Project.
Judy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado Christian University in Organizational Management Project Management where she is a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and finished her studies with a 4.0 gpa.
She was the Salutatorian of her high school and directly after high school studied journalism with a pubic relations emphasis at Colorado State University and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for scholastic achievement.
She has worked as a reporter at two weekly newspapers.
At STEM Ventures, Judy uses her writing talents and serves as the communication director, webmaster and grant writer.
