Judy A. Aanstad has her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Florida. She began her career as a therapist and career counselor at VPI in Blacksburg, VA, and then at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, where she helped start a Lifespan Center for women in transition. She is a consultant, coach and trainer working with individuals and organizations in the areas of leadership, effective communication, career management, team development, and people skills. She began her career in higher education working at Virginia Tech and then Salem College, where she served as the Director of the Lifespan Center for several years. Judy has been an adjunct executive coach at the Center for Creative Leadership for over 20 years. She facilitated two community leadership programs in NC for five years and has worked with numerous leadership programs for government executives and managers.
