Marti , LV , Cert.SAO , MVM , MRCVS , DACVS , DECVS.Dr. Marti received his License of Veterinary Medicine degree ( LV ) in 1990 from the University of Zaragoza Veterinary School , in Zaragoza , Spain.In 1992 , at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School , Glasgow , UK , he received a Certificate in Small Animal Orthopedics ( Cert.SAO ) , where he was the recipient of the LC Vaughn Award for overall highest marks on the national examination.This was followed in 1993 by a Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine , also from the University of Glasgow.While completing his studies in Glasgow , he worked as a veterinary surgeon at the Shawfield Stadium greyhound racetrack.In 1994 , Dr. Marti worked as a veterinary orthopaedic and neurologic surgeon in a small animal referral practice in London , England.1995 through 1998 brought Dr. Marti to North Carolina State University where he completed a Small Animal Residency.From 1998 to July 2000 he has served as a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Surgery at Mississippi State University.Dr. Marti is a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons as well as the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.He is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons , the British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association , the Spanish Association of Veterinary Specialists , the European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology , the American Veterinary Medical Association and a founding member of the Spanish Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology.Dr. Marti , along with Dr. Barnhart , will each be traveling one day per week to the Dayton area to see referral appointments and perform outpatient surgeries.The rest of the week he will have appointment and surgical hours in our Columbus office.MVmd.gif ( 2968 bytes )MedVet Associates , Inc.5747 Cleveland Ave. , Columbus , Ohio 43231( 614 ) 891-2070 , Fax ( 614 ) 891-2081Copyright 2000All Rights Reserved.
