Since opening Studio X
in 2004 Joshua
has quickly become one of the most respected and sought after instructors, and choreographers in North Dakota.
Known for producing mature dancers who are passionate, diverse, and technically grounded, Joshua
is continuously attracting dancers in the region looking to take their dance training to a new level.
Joshua's students have gone on to dance both at the collegiate level and professionally in both the commercial and concert dance arenas.
began his own dance studies in his hometown of Lewistown, MT under the direction of Wendy Pfau, Janet Luciano, and Jerri Lynn Haugen.
Throughout his studies Joshua
has worked under numerous master teachers and choreographers in various styles and methods including Joe Tremaine, Sam Watson, Frank Hatchett, Luigi, Doug Caldwell, and Rhonda Miller, to name a few.
As the Artistic Director of Studio X, Joshua has made Studio X one of the most recognized studios in the Dakota's by creating a consistent and dominate force on the competition circuit.
Year after year Joshua's students can be found at the top of the standings at both regional and national events.
is known just as well for being the creative mind behind what many have called "New York Worthy" dance productions season after season.
While being incredibly demanding, yet never taking himself to seriously, Joshua
brings a unique and fresh approach to both his
teaching and choreography.
