region.At the young age of only 24 Joshua
has worked with some of the dance industries biggest instructors and choreographers including: Joe Tremaine, Luigi, Desiree "Dez" Robbins, Sam Watson, Shirley Strapec, Wade J. Robson, Frank Hatchett, Doug Caldwell, Rhonda Miller, Joelle Martinec, Laurie Johnson, Misha Gabriel, Mia Micheals, Brian Friedman, Dee Dee Woods, Mark Meismer, Carla Kama, Marty Due, Liz Imperio, and Darren Evans to name a few.
has also appeared in music videos as well as live shows for various recording artists including: Britney Spears, Stacie Orrico, Paula Abdul, Christina Aguilera, Carmen, Raze, Blue County, Avalon, Rachel Lampa, Rascal Flats, Jump 5, Destiny's Child, and Zoe Girl.
has also appeared as a dancer at the GMA
"Dove Awards" & "Praise in the Rockies, the CMT "Heat Awards", national and local Pride Events, Dollywood Theme Park, and Six Flags.Along with his
commercial credits Joshua
has also been offered dance roles off Broadway including the Mamma Mia- European Tour.Since Joshua
opened Studio X
in 2004, his
students have won top honors at competitions as far away as Chicago and as close to home as Bismarck and Williston, North Dakota including winning the Spotlight Dance Cup Mid-west Finals for the past two years in a row, making Studio X
one of the premier jazz programs in the region.As a choreographer Joshua's work has recieved many awards including the American Dance Association's
Outstanding Choreography Award, the Spotlight Dance Cup National Outstanding Choreography Award 2 years running, and the Marcia Award for Outstanding Entertainment.Outside of Studio X
Joshua has created and set works for many dance schools, companies, colleges, and universities including Northern Plains Ballet, Bismarck State College
, and the University of Mary
.In 2003 Joshua
was honored as a guest artist for the North Dakota Art Week Celebration
.Other choreography credits include: Gotta Dance, Alive, Kaleidoscope, The Wizard of Jazz, and Beauty and the Beast ...A Jazzed Up Fairytale. Currently Joshua
can be found teaching master classes in Williston, Dickinson, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Billings, Minneapolis, Seattle, and New York City.However Joshua spends most of his
time at his
studio in Minot where he
trains pre-professional students to enter the commercial dance industry full-time, as well as recreational students of all ages.
