Joshua Pope (Teenage Pianist)
Joshua Pope came on board in April, 2009 as our keyboard player, having previously performed with several well known quartets that include The Dove Brothers, The Kingdom Heirs, and the New Florida Boys.
Joshua, in spite of his young age of 16, is already an accomplished and veteran musician, having began at the age of 4.

On Friday night, gospel buffs will gather at Butler Auditorium on the Benton High School campus to hear the Dove Brothers Quartet, Joshua Pope, the Melody Boys Quartet, Gospel Music Hall of Famer Charles Key and CrossPoint Quartet.The Dove Brothers from Greenville, N.C., are among the top gospel quartets in America today.They were voted the Male Quartet of the Year by the Southern Gospel Music Association and The Singing News magazine.The audience will be hearing many old quartet standards as well as a number of new selections included in he group's repertoire.The quartet's song "I Can Pray" is currently number one on the chart of The Singing News.The magazine has described the quartet as "exciting, dynamic, entertaining, and inspirational."Pianist Joshua Pope, now 14, has been performing since the age of 4.Having performed for the governor of Alabama's annual Christmas party and Gaither Homecomings and at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky., he is reported to be wowing audiences with his youthfulness and talent at the keyboard.
