CRISIS drummer Josh Florian "busted his appendix" Sunday night (Sept. 25) and will be unable to join the group on their national tour with KITTIE and OTEP, according to a press release issued by CRISIS' record label, The End Records.The band are urgently seeking a replacement for the trek, which kicks off tonight in Farmingdale, NY."All we can cover is expenses for the road," the label write in the press release."The tour goes through the Northeast, Midwest then the West Coast through mid-November.The band is currently in New York City."

Crisis - Like Sheep Led to the Slaughter
The seven year lay-off showed the band (with a new drummer, Josh Florian in tow) with no signs of rust.
They have been around for 11+ years and have changed drummers quite a few times before they settled on Josh Florian.
Afzaal: Yeah there has been quite a few drummers between Fred and Josh, (chuckles) typical Spinal Tap stuff but Fred really was the originator of the band and some of the weird jazzy stuff that we do.
Josh is probably the first stable drummer we've had since Fred.
Sharita: Yeah I read from the (Crisis) site that Josh
was actually a fan of Crisis and answered a posting for drummer needed I suppose that was pretty exciting for him.
