(Jay) McIsaac, MD, MS, Chief of Trauma Anesthesia at Hartford Hospital.Under the direction of Dr. McIsaac, Dr. Thomas Mort (Founder and Medical Director of the Simulation Center), and Mr. Stephen Donahue, they spend at least 3 hours per year practicing advanced patient care in the Hartford Hospital Simulator while wearing protective equipment.Dr. McIsaac is a 17-year veteran of the US Army Reserve.He has been involved in WMD training since 1982.His training includes tours at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense in Edgewood, MD and at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease at Ft. Detrick, MD.Dr. McIsaac has been lecturing on bioterror at national medical meetings since 2002.
