Joseph Pope (Buddy) Jamieson, Jr., of Nashville, residing at Fellowship Home in Valdosta, died on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007.Mr. Jamieson was born in Washington, N.C. on Aug. 29, 1942, the son of the late Joseph P. (Sr.) and Mary Lou Adams Jamieson. Joseph P. (Buddy) Jamieson was a 1960 graduate of Jeff Davis High School, where he was a Georgia State long-jump champion; he attended Massey Business College, Atlanta, and Valdosta State College.He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was production control manager for Patchogue Plymouth, Nashville Mills Division in the 1970s and 1980s, having transferred from that company's Hazlehurst facility.Mr. Jamieson was an amateur radio operator, having been a member of the ARRL since his teen years and was an avid golfer.He was a former president of the Berrien County Jaycees.
