Mr. Joe Gilio, CEP has had a broad academic background for an academic career which evolved into a private consulting and environmental contracting firm for the last 22 years.
is the responsible person in charge for evaluating, designing, permitting, implementing, monitoring and maintaining environmental mitigation/restoration projects in private and public developments.
Habitats include lakes, wetlands (brackish and fresh), rare-endangered-threatened and special concern (RETS areas, aquatic and terrestrial).
pioneered the successful establishment of constructed storm water retention systems into lakes mimicking natural lake ecosystems through the planning, installation and maintenance of littoral zones both emergent and submerged [EAV and SAV].
The latter has proven to be particularly effective at achieving very low nutrient concentration in storm water runoff system.
successfully designed / built the first rapid flow wetland system in
