With a background in fine art and business, as well as more than 14 years as a practicing lighting designer, Joe Conti
brings a unique creative process to his
role as Senior Designer at Illumination Arts
became involved in architectural lighting through the use of light in his
artistic pursuits and he
embraces the use of light as a medium, appreciating how lighting affects people on many levels.
is detail oriented and is at ease with the conceptual, technical and production aspects of lighting design.
Prior to joining Illumination Arts, Joe was Studio Manager at The Mintz Lighting Group, where he was involved in all aspects of the design process.
Joe is an Associate Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.

, Jersey City, New Jersey; Salvation Army Citadel, Montclair, New Jersey; Morris Crossroads Corporate Park, Mount Olive, New Jersey; Russo Corporate Park, Carlstadt, New Jersey; and Sprint World Headquarters, Overland Park, Kansas.
Joe earned a B.S. in Management and Organizational Behavior from Rider University in 1979 and a B.A. in Fine Arts from Rutgers University.
He studied Architectural Lighting Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
