MANATEE - The trip to Panama will help Joseph Ambrose, president of Pet Doors USA in Bradenton, meet his exporting goal.
, whose company manufactures commercial and residential doors for cats and dogs, expects to have two or three new dealers in Panama by the end of the year.

Most of the shipments for Pet Doors USA
to the area will probably be by air, but Ambrose
said there is a possibility of sea shipments through Port Manatee in the future.
"In the future I'll be recommending the port to new dealers," he
With a population of 3.5 million and a booming growth in gross national product, Panama is appealing to exporters, Ambrose
"You have to go out there and go after the business, you have to have that mentality," he
