Rabbi Pritzker spearheads The David Project's pioneering educational initiative for congregational schools October 17, 2008 - Boston, MA - The David Project wishes to congratulate its educational initiatives manager Rabbi Jonina Pritzker for being named president of the New England Region of the Rabbinical Assembly, the international association of Conservative rabbis. Rabbi Pritzker has served as educational initiatives manager with The David Project since November 2007. She manages four new curricular initiatives for congregational Hebrew schools and Jewish day schools. Her accomplishments also include creating a vibrant, interactive Jewish Identity curriculum, which will be taught in 17 congregational and day schools this fall.

Rabbi Jonina Pritzker RabbiPritzker@mishkantefila.orgRabbi Jonina Pritzker has been spiritual leader at Congregation Mishkan Tefila since 2001.Prior to that she served for ten years as Rabbi of Temple Beth Torah in Holliston, MA. Rabbi Pritzker is a 1990 graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary where she was in the first class of women accepted to, and ordained by, the Seminary.As a rabbinical student she served as Rabbi at synagogues in Arizona and New York, Hospital Chaplain at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Intern at the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership (CLAL).Rabbi Pritzker has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hebraica and Judaica from the University of Pennsylvania.She also spent two years of college and graduate level study in the State of Israel.For several summers, Rabbi Pritzker served as Division Head and Head Counselor, respectively, at Camps Ramah and Yavneh. From St. Louis, Rabbi Pritzker grew up in a rabbinic family.She is the daughter of Benson Skoff, Rabbi Emeritus of Brith Shalom Kneseth Israel.Rabbi Pritzker and her brother Joshua graduated together from the Seminary as the first brother/sister rabbinic ordination in school history.

While Pritzker is visiting from Boston, where she currently serves as Educational Initiatives Manager at The David Project and Spiritual Leader for Congregation Or Yisrael, her roots are local; she grew up in St. Louis and is the daughter of Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel's Rabbi Emeritus Benson Skoff.
