Clerk Golden stated the Maintenance staff is over , way done. Clerk Golden will check the old files for any information dating back to July 2004. Lynden Township asked Clerk Golden to discuss if the City of Clearwater will participate in 1 or 2 clean up days this year. Clerk Golden will advertise the new changes in the local paper.Resident Boone asked if the city has spoke to the Sheriff's Reserve about directing traffic for the city event.Clerk Golden will research the possibility.Clerk Golden will send an electronic copy of the fee schedule to each council member. Clerk Golden will purchase a new drop box and have it placed on the opposite end of the building to provide better service to residents.Clerk Golden will provide three quotes for a new computer for Assistant Petty. Clerk Golden reported her review has been written and it is scheduled to be reviewed on February 8, 2006.Clerk Golden asked council for a pay increase.Council held discussion.Monk asked for a wage scale for each position available in the city to use as a guide moving forward.Clerk Golden will research pay scales in the region. MOTION TO AUTHORIZE CLERK GOLDEN TO OFFER DEB PETTY A ONE DOLLAR WAGE INCREASE, SIMMONS, SECOND BY SCHREIFELS, MEMBERS IN FAVOR, SIMMONS, SCHREIFELS, HENNEN, OPPOSED MONK AND PHELPS, MOTION CARRIED. Monk asked Clerk Golden to notify Stavrum and ask him to email Janelle with a name of the person from MN DOT who told him they were not going to give the city any more salt for the streets. Clerk Golden reported the Pavilion rates were not changed as discussed at the last meeting.Clerk Golden will research the ordinance for clarification. Clerk Golden will notify Heidi Peper to inform her there is a meeting that has been scheduled at City Hall at that time. Clerk Golden stated the city has not signed a written contract for services with Onyx since services began.Clerk Golden presented a written statement from Onyx Services.Mayor Hennen asked Clerk to research other cities for sample contracts, servicing one year so the City of Clearwater could model and utilize in the future.Once a contract is in place, services could become a yearly designation. Clerk Golden presented three computer quotes for council to review to purchase for the City's Administrative Assistant.Clerk Golden gave council a summary of the Clerks Conference.Clerk Golden stated the city needs to add "Administrative Search Permit" as a city ordinance and gave an overview of the details. Mayor Hennen asked Clerk Golden to contact the City Planner for clarification. Clerk Golden will send copies to the City Planner, Attorney and S.E.H. for instructions and clarification.
