Jonathan Sue - Case Coordinator
jonathan.sue@uwac.ca Program: 2nd Year Accounting and Financial Management Deloitte & Touche LLP Having been raised by two accountants, Jonathan was introduced to the world of business at an early age, but it wasn't until Junior Achievement Day in the sixth grade that his career choice was solidified. That's why when it came time to choose universities, the decision to choose the University of Waterloo's Accounting & Financial Management program was an easy one. Within his first year and a half at the University of Waterloo, Jonathan took an active role within the School of Accountancy. He enjoys trying to improve student life within the school in addition to serving as a mentor to those in younger years. For this reason, the extracurricular activities that he partakes in have this as a goal. In the upcoming school year, he plans to serve as an executive leader for Accounting Frosh as well as a teacher assistant and peer tutor. In the summer, Jonathan worked for a mid-sized accountant firm, Beallor & Partners LLP, and is now currently working for Deloitte as a staff accountant. Thus far, he has enjoyed his experience in audit, and hopes to become a partner one day, or explore a career in investment banking. When Jonathan is not working or studying, he can be found supporting his hometown sports teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors and Blue Jays. In addition he enjoys playing golf, shooting pool and cooking and fine dining. In the future, he hopes to work in California or New York and own a 5 Star restaurant on the side.
