has 20 years of top-level sports marketing and sales experience working for leading organizations.
Prior to joining ESP Properties, Jonathan served for five years as chief operating officer of Kentaro Group, a boutique football rights agency.
In this capacity, he
worked with several top 50 club teams and national teams (Brazil, England, Spain and others) on commercialization and event creation.
Projects included the Brazil World Tour of 60 international friendly games, for which he
handled media and sponsorship rights sales, as well as other commercial efforts.
From 2004 to 2010, Jonathan was group commercial director of The FA, leading global media and sponsorship sales for England's national team and The FA Cup.
In this role, he
was responsible for a £600 million commercial program, covering global media and sponsorship rights.
Additionally, as commercial director of Wembley National Stadium Ltd. from 2003 to 2004, Jonathan oversaw the creation and marketing of the commercial program around the new national stadium and premium seat/box offerings.
Jonathan began his career in broadcast sales for ITV and NBC from 1986 to 1993, before embarking on a career in sports as commercial director for Euro96, for which he created and sold the local organizing committee program with ISL.
From 1996 to 2003, he served as senior international vice president of IMG's football division, responsible for media rights sales and federation commercial program representation.
