Jonathan Boisjolie, Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism Division. Jonathan Boisjolie is the Senior Manager for International Tourism Business Development for the Georgia Department of Economic Development's (GDEcD) Tourism Division. The GDEcD Business Development team actively promotes the State's tourism assets throughout the U.S., and in several international markets from the UK to Brazil, through a series activities including sales missions, familiarization tours, and trade shows to building relationships with tour operators, travel agents, travel industry professionals, airlines representatives, and media. Prior to GDEcD, Jonathan was the Senior Manager of Group Sales at the High Museum of Art - Atlanta. He was responsible for travel trade business development, group visitation, and the facility rental department. Before moving to Georgia in 2005, Jonathan was a Tour Consultant for American Tours and Travel, a group tour operator in Orlando Florida. He provided and organized group travel to destinations throughout the U.S. Jonathan Boisjolie participated in the Lt. Governor's 2012 Brazil Trade Mission from April 10 - 13. In Sao Paulo, Jonathan met with tour operators and attended a luncheon produced in partnership with the Brazil-American Chamber of Commerce called "Doing Business with Georgia. On Friday, April 13 Georgia Tourism hosted 30 Tour Operators in Rio de Janeiro at a luncheon in cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Service office in Rio. In attendance were several major Brazilian outbound Tour Operators as well as Brazilian media outlets.
