JONATHAN PEDRO - Dr. Pedro is a licensed psychologist engaging in private practice in Connecticut.His
practice involves evaluation and treatment of psychological disorders including: behavioral disturbances, autistic spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety and attention deficit disorder.He is also a consulting psychologist and a Connecticut Certified School Psychologist for the Regional School District in Durham, Connecticut.He
has established a district-wide violence/bully-proof prevention program in addition to school-based pre-referral Teacher Assistant Teams.Dr. Pedro
has also implemented training programs to faculty and parents.He worked previously as a consultant to Louisiana State Penitentiary System Rescare, ARC Developmental Centers and Louisiana State University's Medical Center's Infant and Toddler Program.Dr. Pedro serves as a practicum supervisor for Southern Connecticut State University-based practicum students.He
supervises on clinical assessments of children and provides training and leadership to predoctoral candidates in psychology. Dr. Pedro serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Liberal Arts at Quinnipiac University where he teaches Introduction and Abnormal Psychology courses.He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Arts & Sciences Department at the University of Bridgeport, where he teaches graduate level courses in child development using a community interaction approach in conjunction with lecture and discussion methods.Dr. Pedro
has gained a great deal of research experience and has authored a number of publications for school districts.He is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, Connecticut Association of School Psychologists, American Counseling Association, Louisiana Association of School Psychologists and Louisiana Psychological Association.
