Associate Editor Jon Langston
About the same time he
began writing short stories and sitcom scripts to keep himself company, Jon Langston
was tearing up El Mirage Dry Lake in Southern California on a borrowed Yamaha YZ-80 (thanks, Stevie).
He's been a writer and a rider ever since.
After graduating from Garden Grove High School in 1983, he
forewent college, opting instead to drill holes in the interstate with a 90-pound roto-hammer.
Realizing quickly that college would be far more rewarding and less physically painful, Jonny discovered the Majesty of the Inverted Pyramid while attending Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California.
After a couple of years on the staff of the student newspaper, The Western Sun, he transferred to California State Fullerton, where he became entertainment editor of the award-winning student newspaper The Daily Titan.
He graduated CSUF in the spring of 1994 with a bachelor's degree in communications/print journalism, and a minor in political science.
moved to New York City a few weeks later, and these days considers himself a New Yorker.
Jonny lives in Brooklyn with his
