By the end of 2009, Gina was promoted to become the Managing Director for the organization, and continues to "steer the RLTP ship" alongside Scott Behrend and Jon Elston.
Jon Elston Literary Director, Resident Playwright & Co-Founder John is the author of Triangles: The Elliptical, The Peddler's Bones, Private Viewing, Interrogation Room, ProJect,Buffalo Movie, American Deal (with Tom Naples), and a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's Antony & Cleopatra, all of which have premiered through RLTP. Jon won the Artie Award for Best New Play for Interrogation Room in 2004and was nominated for the same award on four other occasions; Interrogation Roomalsoreceived the Source Theatre National Literary Prize in 2003. Jon was named Best Playwright in Artvoice's Best of Buffalo poll all three years the category was announced (2007, 2008, 2009) and, in lieu of a Best Playwright category, was named Best Writer in 2011 (an honor Jon humbly admits should've gone to Manny Fried). Speaking of Manny: Jon founded RLTP's New Play Workshop (later re-christened the Emanuel Fried NPW) in 2004 and has moderated it since then (and was joined by Director Kyle LoConti in 2009). Jon is proud to have helped Scott Behrend found RLTP in 2002.
