Survivors include one son, Alan (Judy) Stiel of Mendota; one daughter, Janet Stiel of Mendota; six stepsons, Joseph W. (Karen), Gerald (Susan) and Dale (Jennifer) Zolper, all of Mendota, Ronald (Cheryl) Zolper of Byron, Paul (Marijean) and John (Cindy) Zolper, both of Galesburg; three stepdaughters, Marilynn (Milton) Sexton and Marjorie Galloway, both of LaSalle and Marcia (Glenn) Kleckner of Mendota; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 46 step grandchildren; 67 step great grandchildren; and four step great great grandchildren.Mrs. Zolper was a 1931 graduate of Mendota High School.She was employed by Conco for 28 years as a bookkeeper/secretary until her retirement in 1978.She was a member of Holy Cross Church, St. Mary's Altar & Rosary Society, Mendota Community Hospital Auxiliary and the Women's International Bowling Congress (WIBC).She served on the advisory council for the Western Illinois Agency for the Aged (WIAA) and was active in square dancing and was on a bowling league.Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.Send us your comments about this article.
